Anime Convention

UChi-Con is a one-day, free anime convention at the University of Chicago on February 23rd, from 12-8 PM. Put together by UCJAS (University of Chicago Japanese Animation Society),we promote anime in academia, and our featured events are two presentations created by college professors that will examine the Korean Wave in Japan and Ninja Martial Arts in an academic format.

Alongside our speakers we will have fan panels on Cosplay, Gothic Lolita, Conventions 101, Webcomics, and Drawing. We will also have video gaming tournaments, an Artists' Alley, a Consuite, and a screening room.
