Information on FreeCon 2015

FreeCon [visit site]

March 28-29, 2015
Florida State University

FreeCon is a free annual convention that serves to meet the needs of anyone who is interested in Japanese animation, science fiction, video games, or comics. It is held in Tallahassee, Florida every year on the Florida State University campus. As a Freecon tradition, the convention bears a different original theme and story, with events corresponding to them. Last year we visited the ancient societies of Dune and Oasis, a fantastical world long predating the setting of this years story. Now we are in the modern era, a time of thieves and treasures. FreeCon will be held in our longtime home, the FSU Oglesby Union. Check out the Vendor Room and the Artist Alley for awesome merchandise , a must for any convention-goer! Take a break and interact with fellow fans in a Panel, hang out in the Viewing Rooms to catch a variety of screenings, or take part in our many video game-related events! The Costume Contest will also be returning this year, along with the AMV contest, and a variety of other contests and events. More programming will be added as time goes on!
