Cedar Rapids Comic Con is the Midwest's most affordable comic book, gaming, and all things nerdy convention.
On February 4, 2017, an estimated 10,000+ people from all over the Midwest will swarm on Cedar Rapids for a weekend filled with nerd and geek friendly activities. At the week's center is Cedar Rapids Comic Con, held at the Cedar Rapids DoubleTree Hotel & Convention Center. The convention itself hosts comic artists and writers, vendors selling nerdy collectibles, and experts in fields relating to the comic book, sci-fi, fantasy, and gaming world. Simply put, if it's nerdy� you'll find it here.
2017's event has been expanded and now features two floors. On the ground floor, our massive vendor, artist, and exhibitor hall will be packed with everything from comic artists and toys, to cosplay supplies and much much more. On the second floor, we are excited to host a room dedicated to tabletop gaming, a room dedicated to video games, and our Speakers & Sessions Room. Throughout the day in the Speakers & Sessions Room, there are scheduled events where attendees can take part in discussions and learn from industry experts from the comic, gaming, and nerd worlds.
