Biography:
Tyler MacNiven is best known as one of the winners of The Amazing Race 9, no small part in thanks to his intiment knowlege of Japan
In 2002, he walked from the southern tip of Kyushu to the northern tip of Hokkaido (the most S and N points of Japan) in search of his father's birthplace. Over the 5 months it took him, he learned Japanese, and developed an amazing relationship with the Japanese people. He's a wacky, highly entertaining guy. He wants to teach
people about the real Japan that he experienced, and I think that the entire community would benefit from the grassroots, non-pop culture experience that he had.
