THE ROYAL DEAD is one of the first Japanese future pop groups, comprising guitar, violin, and between 2 to 4 female singers when appearing live.

2002 November ­ PHANTASMAGORIA released their first CD maxi-single “WALPURGUIS”.

2003 February ­ PHANTASMAGORIA appeared at one of the biggest gothic nights in Tokyo “TOKYO DARK CASTLE” for the first time, and have repeatedly been invited back ever since... becoming one of the most regular and popular performers at this event.

2003 June ­ PHANTASMAGORIA were featured in the famous Japanese underground magazine “BURST”.

2003 December ­ PHANTASMAGORIA successfully produced the “TOKYO DARK CASTLE CHRISTMAS PARADE”, and were featured in the well-known Japanese publication “GOTHIC LOLITA BIBLE”.

2004 May ­ Aci organised the first “Kobe Underground Festival”: one of the largest gothic/alternative events ever held in Japan, and a major new development in the history of the Japanese goth/darkwave scene.

2004 October ­ Aci appeared solo in Seattle and Santa Cruz.

2004 November ­ Aci accompanied the world-renowned contemporary dancer Masayuki Sumi live.

2005 April ­ Aci appeared on the noise compilation album “C.U.E. Compilation 2”, alongside Hans Koch (Switzerland), inBOIL (USA) and more.

2005 May ­ PHANTASMAGORIA contributed 2 tracks to the “Kobe Underground Festival 2004-5” compilation album, also featuring Sins Of The Flesh (UK), Mimetic (Switzerland) and more.

2005 May ­ Aci organised the second “Kobe Underground Festival”, again featuring the finest goth, darkwave and industrial acts from across Japan, plus guest international artists. PHANTASMAGORIA undertook a unique live collaboration at this festival with Rick Walker (organiser of the “Live Looping Festival” in the US).

2005 July ­ PHANTASMAGORIA released their second CD maxi-single “LYCANTHROPE”

2005 October ­ PHANTASMAGORIA appeared live in Europe for the first time, at 3 dates in Switzerland.

2005 November ­ PHANTASMAGORIA were featured in leading German gothic/industrial magazine Orkus and Switzerland metal magazine Tranzit and more.

2006 September ­ PHANTASMAGORIA appeared live at the most of biggest gothic event in ex,USSR "Chorna Rada Children of the Night" for the first time. at Kiev Ukraine.

2006 November ­ PHANTASMAGORIA change the unit name. The new name is "THE ROYAL DEAD".

2007 May ­ THE ROYAL DEAD released their first full album "PHANTASMAGORIA" from Twilight Records, Argentina.

2007 July - THE ROYAL DEAD appeared live at the most of biggest gothic event middle Europe in Poland "Castle Party" and the most of biggest electronica event "Electro Prague Festival".

2007 November ­ THE ROYAL DEAD appeared on the gothic compilation album "Tokyo Dark Castle / V.A." compilation album, also featuring Auto Mod, Aural Vampire, BAAL and more.

2008 March­THE ROYAL DEAD appeared live at the most of biggest Anime event in USA "Anime Wasabi" in Denver and Boston, Sacramento, Santa Cruz, Portland.

2008 March ­ THE ROYAL DEAD released their third CD maxi-single "LOVE EXODUS".

2008 July to September ­ THE ROYAL DEAD appeared live at the most of biggest gothic event in Netherland "Summer Darkness" in Utrecht and one of the biggest gothic event in Czech Republic "Night Side" in Prague. Also THE ROYAL DEAD appeared live in the most of biggest j-rock event in Russia "J-Rock convention" in Moscow and one of the biggest gothic event in USA "Realms Con". THE ROYAL DEAD appeared lives 13 times of oversea's events in this summer.
