Christian Lalinde, better known as Sephi Hakubi in entertainment media, is a progressive DJ, multi-media producer, and occasional cosplayer and gamer who has a big focus in the Anime Fandom and Electronic Dance Music cultures. He currently leads a production faction with his wife and manager Laura "Amethyst Hakubi" Lalinde called Hau5 of Hakubi, producing and performing music through radio and live events along with their close friends and fellow artists. Furthermore, Sephi is a resident at nightlife entertainment groups EBE Productions and Just Don't Stop Productions in San Antonio, radio stations ToukuFM (worldwide) and My959 (KXRG-LP 95.9FM in Honolulu), and is currently signed with dance music label Appointed Recordings LLC.

Born in New Jersey, raised in South Florida, and now residing in San Antonio, TX, Sephi utilized his experiences in many of his interactions to become what he's described today as a "multi-media culture masher." Sephi has been an anime fan for nearly his entire life, but established the correlation between anime and electronic music during his teenage years. Sephi began DJing in 2006 at the age of 20 and has feverishly practiced mixing his favorite Trance, House, Eurodance, and Hardcore tunes from artists like DJ Encore, Iio, Paul van Dyk, Fragma, and Darude...just to name a few. After attending dances from his first anime convention in Hawaii as early as 2007, Sephi knew that he wanted to make the electronic dance community relevant for fans looking for a place of friendship, musical freedom, and a love for fandom and EDM; therefore, Sephi formulated his mixing style called AnimEDM, a style of sound and sights unique to many DJs and EDM performers on the market.

Sephi's AnimEDM style brought him great fortune as his efforts in electronic music gained the attention of several figures in the anime and rave scene, performing for the masses at FAN:dom Con, San Japan, and SukoshiCon as well as festivals like Equinox, Unite As One, and Tonyc Summer Jam; in addition, Sephi managed to open for Darude and also had the honor to open directly for FYER and Kenneth Thomas, gaining much valued wisdom from world-renowned industry performers. Currently, Sephi is focusing more on music production to incorporate his AnimEDM concept; meanwhile, you can hear Sephi's proof of concept every week on his serialized radio show, Weekly Rave Smash, airing live every Thursday night at 6PM Central Time on
