Biography:
Kc Wayland is an award-winning writer, producer, editor, director, and United States Army veteran whose film and audio work has been enjoyed around the world. His highly successful original audio series, "We're Alive", has garnered hundreds of millions of downloads since its debut and is one of the highest rated narrative podcasts created as well as being a producer of two seasons of the historical audio theater series and smash hit "Bronzeville", starring Laurence Fishburne and Larenz Tate. Kc continues to write "Bombs Always Beep", a comprehensive manual on producing full audio spectrum entertainment in what he calls "Theater for the Mind". Kc's recent audio series "Goldrush" premiered in September of 2019 to over 5 million downloads at launch, rave reviews, a BBC award nomination for "Best Audio Drama", and first place Audience Favorite at the Hear Now Festival. Currently, Kc teaches audio production and writing at Chapman University at the Dodge College of Media Arts and USC's School of Dramatic Arts.
