Anime Bonanza to be held in Reno, Nevada this August

RENO, NV - From the Team that brought you Anime St. George in Southern Utah, is now bringing to Sierra Nevada a new and unique anime convention taking place on August 6th, 2011 at the Ramada Reno Hotel & Casino in Reno, NV: Anime Bonanza!

Anime Bonanza is a one-of-a-kind mix of steampunk, Japanese pop culture and 1800's American West. Drawing its name from NBC's hit western series, Bonanza, which took place in the Reno and Carson City Area, Anime Bonanza, will be featuring the usual fan-favorite events as well as new events never before seen such as Ninja Rodeo.

"We are very excited to be bringing a new convention to the Reno Area." tells Lisa Monroe, Founder and Public Relations for both Anime Bonanza and Anime SG. "Not only does it help expand the anime and manga fan base in the area, but Anime Bonanza comes with a flavor all its own. It really is 'Where East Meets The West.'" she says quoting the convention's slogan.

Anime Bonanza will be taking place as a single day event for its first year but with plans to quickly expand to a multi-day event in the near future. The event will be held on August 6t, 2011 at the Ramada Reno Hotel & Casino in Reno, Nevada.
