AnimeNext announces additional guests
AnimeNext has announced additional names on its guest list, including voice actors Matt K. Miller and Lisa Ortiz as well as industry guests Toshifumi Yoshida, Trish Ledoux, CB Cebulski, and Edwin De La Cruz. AnimeNext has also announced the cancellation of Otaku Duet.

Kawaii Kon, Hawaii's first anime convention, is announced
Kawaii Kon, Hawaii's first anime convention, was announced today. It is scheduled for April 22-24, 2005 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Representatives from this new convention will be present at Anime Boston, Animazement, Metrocon, Anime Festival Orlando, DragonCon, and Anime Weekend Atlanta.
