Puffy AmiYumi to swing by Otakon for a panel
Although not listed as actual "guests" at Otakon 2005, Puffy AmiYumi will be in Baltimore the same weekend and will be holding a panel on Friday, August 19th at 7:30pm. Also, very few registrations remain and the availability of at-con registration seems unlikely.   [read more]

Anime Boston, Hynes Convention Center, Sheraton Boston confirm contract for AB 2007
Planning ahead, the dates for Anime Boston 2007 have been announced as April 20-22, 2007. This will move the event back to its usual April timeframe rather than Anime Boston 2006's May 26-28, 2006 dates. Both events will take place at the Hynes Convention Center and Sheraton Boston Hotel.   [read more]

Otakon pre-registration ends; limited number at the door
At midnight Eastern time, Otakon's pre-registration closed. They report that a limited number will be available at the door and that they are expected to sell out very quickly.
