AniZona has been cancelled
AniZona has announced that their 2008 convention has been canceled, but they hope to return in 2009. The cancellation is a result of not being able to get a minimum of 75 hotel rooms booked at the hotel by a December 16th deadline. [discuss]

Anime Mid-Atlantic moves to Virginia Beach after Hyatt cancels contract
Anime Mid-Atlantic has announced on their web site that the Hyatt Regency Crystal City double-booked the hotel on that weekend and has decided to cancel their contract. As a result, the convention will be held at the Holiday Inn Executive Center in Virginia Beach.   [read more] [discuss]
