News for Middle Tennessee Anime Convention 2008:

Middle Tennessee Anime Convention announces new location and dates

MTAC, Tennessee's oldest anime convention, is excited to announce a change of location for its 2008 event to one of Nashville's most luxurious hotels - the Music City Sheraton. After two years in the suburb of Cool Springs, MTAC is returning to Nashville to better service its fans and accommodate the substantial growth the convention has experienced over the past three years.

The convention set record attendance numbers at its 2007 convention, MTAC Prime, with over 3,000 attendees. With a change of locations and shift in dates to April 25th - 27th, 2008, MTAC is once again projecting a substantial growth in attendance. Lucas Leverett, Convention Chairman, is quoted as saying "MTAC has experienced phenomenal success and we're all looking forward to seeing the convention's true potential realized in the coming years. We're confident the Sheraton is a stepping stone towards that future."

Pre-registration rates for the event have already been announced via the convention's newly revamped website - www.mtac.net and online sales of memberships are expected to begin soon.
