Just got a call from the Big Fresno Fair not too long ago and this is a decision from the State of California passed down to the Big Fresno Fair to the Ani-Me Con committee:
To protect public health and slow the rate of transmission of COVID-19, the California Department of Public Health announced a recommendation that gatherings and events of more than 250 people should either be postponed or cancelled. Ani-Me Con will abide by this recommendation. Ani-Me Con 9.0 scheduled on March 21 - 22, 2020 , will be postponed until May 2 - 3, 2020.
