Anime Convention

SummerCon is a newly created anime convention meant to share with the community more about Japanese animation and culture. This convention will offer many of the qualities from its sister convention, WinterCon, which is held during the Winter.

SummerCon will be showcasing local talent, such as artists and bands, plus supporting local businesses with advertisement and booths. We will be offering a variety of entertainment including music, animation, games, contests, activities, tournaments, and a variety of educational and hands-on panels.

This convention is not solely based on entertainment, but is a foundation to teach people of all ages about a different culture, diversity, and uniting people with similar interest. This convention is not only educational and a source of entertainment for the community but is also a good source of income for surrounding businesses which include hotels, restaurants, and stores. Our foremost objective is to affect the community positively, which is the reason we also hold a charity auction where all profits go to a non-profit organization in need.
