Biography:
Tom Holland has quickly emerged as one of Hollywood's most exciting and versatile young actors.

He recently received rave reviews for "Spider-Man: Homecoming" in which he plays the title role of 'Peter Parker' / 'Spider-Man.' The film was released July 7, 2017 and has already grossed over 700 million worldwide. He debuted his role as 'Spider-Man' in Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War," which premiered in Spring 2016, and grossed over 1 billion worldwide.

Holland is currently shooting the lead role in Doug Liman's "Chaos Walking" alongside Daisy Ridley, Mads Mikkelsen, David Oyelowo and Damien Bachir.

Holland made his screen debut opposite Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts in Juan Antonio Bayona's "The Impossible" in which he delivered a captivating performance. Other film credits include the drama "In the Heart of the Sea," "Edge of Winter" alongside Joel Kinnaman, "How I Live Now," "Locke" and James Gray's "The Lost City of Z" opposite Charlie Hunnam, Rob Pattinson and Sienna Miller which was released in April.

Audiences will next see Holland star in Alfonso Gomez Rejon's period drama, "The Current War," alongside Benedict Cumberbatch which will be released in December.

In addition to his achievements in film, Holland made his stage debut at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London in which he played 'Billy' in "Billy Elliott."

2017 has been a breakout year for Holland. He has received the BAFTA Rising Star Award and the Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor. In addition, he was named Breakthrough Actor of the Year by the National Board of Review and received a Critics Choice Nomination for Best Young Actor /Actress for his role in "The Impossible."
