Biography:
Adam Ghahramani is a creative marketing and product director in New York City. He is a frequent contributor at VentureBeat and has appeared on dozens of panels at conventions to discuss the intersection of business, technology and fandom. His "home" convention is New York Comic Con.
Adam is on the advisory board at ICv2, which is the #1 trade publication for the comics and graphic novel industry.
Adam was the co-founder and creative lead behind Nimble Strong: Bartender in Training, which Polygon.com named as one of the best iPhone games ever created. Nimble Strong was also featured in the New York Times, Joystiq, TUAW, GamePro, BoingBoing and Engadget.
During a hackathon, Adam launched a movie website, 100thingsilearned.com, which quickly grew to over 3,000 members after it caught the attention and interest of Roger Ebert. Adam later sold the website.
As a teenager, Adam co-founded theOtaku.com, which became one of the most popular and influential websites online for the anime world. theO grew to over 1 million users and received accolades in dozens of media channels around the world.
