Biography:
A native of the Washington D.C. area, Athel began cosplaying at Otakon 2003. She has won numerous major awards and been published multiple times in the Japanese cosplay magazine Cosmode during her 11 year career. In 2012, while studying in Japan and living on the 3rd floor of her host family's saké shop, Athel was gifted the unique opportunity to attend cosplay events in Kyoto and Hyogoken.
All of these wonderful experiences have aided in her current costuming career after graduation. Athel now works as a costuming assistant and crafts person for the dolphin show at SeaWorld Orlando and Walt Disney World Special Events.
