Scott Sherman
Illustrator
Portland, ME
Biography:
Scott Sherman has been working on Illustration, Concept Art and Advertising projects since graduating from Ringling College of Art & Design in 2011. Collaborating with Tom Deschenes to craft the fantasy world of Quest for the Antidote was one of the first such projects, but he's gone on to illustrate character designs for tabletop RPGs, hand-painted signs, fine art of antique weaponry, Financial and Real Estate marketing materials, and the artwork for an educational board game - ToothFairy Adventures; self-published by Maine-Based startup: Fister Enterprises.
Scott was born outside of Chicago in 1987, and moved to Bangor, Maine at the age of 6 - where he would grow up as an avid fantasy and science fiction fan - fostered by a love for games, along with the artwork and world-building of Magic the Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, and Shadowrun. Film and Animation would also prove areas of obsession, and eventually, thanks to the special features on a Lord of the Rings DVD, Scott realized that there were, in fact, people who got paid to draw for a living!
At the moment, Scott is living and working as a freelancer in the Portland area - happy to be back in Maine, always looking for new projects, and with high hopes for the success of Quest for the Antidote!
