News for Middle Tennessee Anime Convention 2008:

Middle Tennessee Anime Convention finalizes 2008 music lineup

NASHVILLE, TN - MTAC Welcomes Eyeshine to 2008 Lineup of Guests and Musical Acts

MTAC, Tennessee's anime convention, is happy to announce the completion of our 2008 musical lineup with the addition of "Eyeshine" to the MTAC Infinity roster of performing artists. Eyeshine is a three piece edge rock band currently emerging as one of the most promising unsigned groups out of California. With infectious lyrics from front-man/voice actor, Johnny Yong Bosch, Eyeshine is geared to deliver one of the most powerful shows at MTAC Infinity!

Eyeshine joins a robust and unique group of artists taking the stage at MTAC Infinity. Bands featured in the lineup include "Peelander-Z", "The Slants", "Chickenbox" and Nashville's very own "The Man Power" and "Land Barons". The groups hail from all four corners of the country and have chosen to make Nashville the home of the definitive anime rock show in 2008!

Also taking the stage at MTAC Infinity will be DJ TX300 and famous voice actor/touring DJ - Greg Ayres! Greg is known for his presence in the anime convention circuit and for keeping the beats pounding throughout the night. DJ TX300 will be bringing his highly popular Nashville flavor to the turn tables on Friday night headlining his first show at MTAC.

Still not enough music for you? Join MTAC throughout the weekend for performances from nerdcore acts "My Parent's Favorite Music", "Mega Ran" and "CSHC". As if that wasn't enough, MTAC is also excited to welcome the "Nashville Lotus Taiko Team" to the convention with their performance of traditional Japanese taiko drums.

Pre-registration has closed for MTAC Infinity but admission is still available at the door! Details concerning the event and pricing are available via our website http://www.mtac.net. Join us at the Music City Sheraton on April 25th - 27th for what will undoubtedly prove to be one of Nashville most unique weekends of music with influences from around the world!
