News for Sakura-Con 2006:

Sakura-Con announces two new guests of honor

Seattle, WA- 2-20-2006 Sakura-Con is proud to announce Jennifer SekiGuchi and Katie Bair as its two newest guests of honor.

Jennifer SekiGuchi is a beautiful and talented voice actress who has many excellent parts to her name. She will be voicing Wendy in the upcoming "GUNxSWORD". Her other works include: "Hare and Guu" (Guu), "FLC (Mamimi), "Naruto" (Hinata/Kin), "Koi Kaze" (Nanoka), "IGPX" (Yuri/Bella), "Count of Monte Cristo" (Haidee), "Snow Fairy Sugar" (Greta), "Girls Bravo" (Kirie), "Bottle Fairy" (Horohoro), "Fafner" (Maya), "Tenjho Tenge" (Aya), to name a few. Jennifer can also be heard in several videogames as well such as "Grandia 3," "Radiata Stories," "Shadowhearts 2," and "Obscure."

Katie Bair is an Award-Winning Costume Designer, Published Manga Writer/Artist (, Oasis Destiny, Ninja High School: Hawaii), and the Workaholic Madwoman behind Petting Zoo Wig Design; the most popular cosplay wig studio and wigcraft resource on Earth.

ANCEA (Asia Northwest Cultural Education Association) is proud to sponsor the ninth annual Sakura-Con March 24th - 26th, 2006 at a new location; the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in Downtown Seattle Washington.

Sakura-Con is an annual three day gathering of enthusiasts and professionals interested in Japanese Animation (anime), comics (manga), and Asian culture. The convention features a wide array of activities and programming such as: industry guests, demonstrations, cosplay (costuming), contests, discussion panels and film screenings.
