Anime Convention

Organized by Vancouver Anime Convention Society

Akimatsuri is an annual 1-day event held in the late fall, serving as a light version of our annual 3-day convention. Akimatsuri is made of the Japanese words for autumn (aki) and festival (matsuri) and is styled upon on the school, cultural and seasonal festivals held in Japan during the fall season.

In addition to our themed elements, Akimatsuri also includes many of the traditional Anime Evolution events on a smaller scale including panels, live performances, gaming, artists alley, and vendors.
