Biography:
Robin Lown Gardella has been playing with bows and arrows since her youth and then about 6 years ago developed a more serious interest in the sport. She joined a league and started competing in state and national tournaments. Robin prefers to shoot with a traditional wooden recurve bow without sights and stablizers. During the winter she shoots indoors and then when the weather warms up enjoys shooting at 3-D tournaments in which archers walk through the woods and stopping at stations with various animal targets. She is currently ranked 2nd in the nation and has held the Maine state record for the past 4 years. Archery is a sport that can be enjoyed by all ages and is fun to learn.
