Since 2009, theotoxin has explored a wide array of music in an effort to shape a unique sound and style. From down-tempo beats, to high energy hardcore, there are few styles left untouched. The result of this exploration falling under the phenomenon known as 'Internet Dancefloor', an area in which theotoxin has established a strong foothold. The term is influenced by and encompasses a wide variety of styles, including J-Pop, Desktop Music (amateur/dojin production via unconventional methods), Anison (remixes or tracks built upon anime themes/soundtracks), and much more.
In addition to solo efforts, theotoxin has also collaborated with the net label/collective Zoom Lens, and curated the 11th volume in a series of mixtapes for the label, to huge success with over 5,000 plays. Other mixes have met similar reception, earning a collective play count of over 32,000 and counting, and gaining attention from artists including tofubeats, Tomad, Seiho, and more. In addition to net presence, theotoxin has performed at many live events, including ColossalCon, KatsuCon, IchibanCon, and many more.
