Thomas J. McCarthy
Thomas J. McCarthy's cosplaying history started back when he was a sixteen. His grandmother knew he loved Mortal Kombat video games and movies, so she sewed a fabric costume together for me. Eventually, Thomas updated it to a better rendition of the classic Scorpion costume using black and yellow vinyl, zippers and custom fitting. He did so well on that costume that my nephew wanted a Reptile costume and a friend wanted a Sub-Zero costume. That friend was also the reason he entered the comic convention world and true cosplaying network.
Since entering the cosplaying world and watching the Sci-Fi program Face Off, Thomas has developed a passion for sculpting masks, as well as, improving upon his current Scorpion costume. Currently, he has started sculpting masks and selling them. He has a multitude of ideas for making more masks and costumes in the future and looks forward to the challenges that sculpting and costuming bring.
