Biography:
Wataru Watari is a light novel author from Chiba prefecture of Japan, born January 24, 1987. He debuted as an author by winning the third Shogakkan Light Novel Gagaga Grand Prize with Ayakashigatari.
He has authored number of titles including Qualidea Code series, and Girlish Number, but his most well known work as an author is the series My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected, which has been made into an anime under the title of My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU. He has also worked on numerous other titles as script writers and in other roles, such as Domestic Girlfriend, GETUP! GETLIVE!, The Saint's Magic Power Is Omnipotent series, and Isekai Yakkyoku.
