Otakorp, Inc. is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization best known for running Otakon, one of the world's premiere gatherings of fandom!
The primary purpose of the Corporation is to promote the appreciation of Asian culture, primarily through its media and entertainment.
The corporation's primary annual meeting is Otakon itself. Anyone who purchases a membership in Otakorp is invited to attend Otakon as a member of the corporation. Those who meet other defined requirements may also vote, much as shareholders in for-profit corporations do. We elect a board of directors to manage the affairs of the corporation.
