Mondo Media, the studio behind the rabidly popular Happy Tree Friends, makes a personal appearance on the Saturday of the convention for a focus panel, Q&A, and autographs and photos.

Korean director Kim Moon Sang and producer Kay Hwang, the couple behind the sensational Sky Blue movie (also known as Wonderful Days), make their first convention appearances as well at the Maxmedia focus panel. In addition to Sky Blue, Maxmedia was also involved in the 2001 drama-thriller, The Others.

Tofu Records will be appearing for a panel session and be having a booth at Anime Overdose.

Animation veteran Ken Pontac, who has been all over the board in the past couple decades, will lead a panel on censorship in animation on the Saturday of the convention.

Anime Overdose is owned and operated by Synchronous Entertainment, LLC and was established to highlight anime in the context of the great tradition of worldwide animation, and help people from all backgrounds and circumstances recognize anime as something special by presenting animation and animation professionals from America, Japan, and South Korea.
