NatsuCon announces second wave of guests

Saint Louis, MO - May 18th, 2011 - NatsuCon, the premiere summer anime convention in the greater St. Louis area, will be taking place August 12th-14th at the Gateway Center in Collinsville, IL. Registration is currently open and weekend passes are available for $25. You can register by going here:

NatsuCon has announced its second wave of guests, featuring voice actor Eric Vale. Eric Vale is an American voice actor, ADR director, script and head writer who works at FUNimation Entertainment. He is best known as the English voice of Sanji in One Piece, the adult variations of Trunks in Dragon Ball, America and Canada in Hetalia: Axis Powers, Yuki Sohma in Fruits Basket, Solf J. Kimblee in Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Arystar Krory the Third in D.Gray-man, Jean in Gunslinger Girl, Oji Karasuma in School Rumble, Koichiro Iketani in Initial D, and Justin Law in Soul Eater. Eric's ADR director credits include Case Closed and Gunslinger Girl. As the head writer, Eric has also scripted over fifty anime programs, such as Initial D, One Piece, Ouran High School Host Club, Spice and Wolf, Peach Girl and more!

Losing Controllers, a local nerdcore band, will perform at NatsuCon as well. Emerging from the enchanted forest of Oakville deep within St. Louis, MO, Losing Controllers formed the foundations of nerdcore electro-punk pop-rock and have begun shaking the foundations of the city itself. Soon the four chosen warriors will quest forth, gaining levels aplenty and discovering new friends (and enemies!?!) on their journey!

NatsuCon also welcomes YukaPon for her second convention appearance. Eternally 13 years old, YukaPon is an up and coming internet star, singing and dancing her way into popularity. She is a major attraction on Nico Nico Douga, Stickam Japan, and just on her youtube alone her video views have reached over half a million hits. Her fans are constantly on the rise in Japan and America alike. With her signature cat ears, achingly cute persona, and memorable voice, YukaPon is well on her way to achieving her dream living and working in Japan as an Akiba Idol.
