News for TFcon 2011:

TFcon announces final guest list

TFcon - Canada's Transformers Collectors Convention returns July 30-31, 2011.

TFcon is Canada's annual Transformers collectors convention, and the second greatest attended Transformers convention in the world. TFcon 2011 will be held for the 10th time on July 30th and 31st, 2011. This year's attractions include special actor guests Garry Chalk, Paul Eiding, writer Simon Furman, along with Hasbro Canada. Garry Chalk is a veteran live-action and animation actor who voiced Optimus Prime from 2002 - 2006. He also was the voice of Optimus Primal in the Canadian-produced Transformers series Beast Wars and Beast Machines.
He is also known for his roles in the television series Cold Case Files and AMC's The Killing, and has appeared in motion pictures such as The Fly II, Freddy vs. Jason, Deck the Halls, Watchmen and Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins.
At TFcon, Mr. Chalk will be participating in a live script reading with fans, question and answer panels, and autograph and photograph sessions. For more information on his career, check out

Paul Eiding's work on Transformers goes all the way back to the original 1984 television series where he voiced the popular character Perceptor. Aside from Transformers, Eiding's voice can be heard as Roy Campbell in the Metal Gear series, the narrator in Diablo, Judicator Aldaris in StarCraft, and Grandpa Max Tennyson in Ben 10.
At TFcon Mr. Eiding will be taking part in a live script reading with fans, question and answer panels, and autograph and photograph sessions. For more information on his career, check out

Simon Furman is a comic book writer and editor whose name is synonymous with Transformers fiction. He began writing for Transformers in the 1985 UK Marvel comics, and since then has written a number of issues for the various Transformers comic book franchises that have followed. He is also credited for creating the titular character The Fallen for the 2009 film Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen.
At TFcon Mr. Furman will be taking part in question and answer panels, and autograph and photograph sessions in his first ever Canadian convention appearance.

This year TFcon features Hasbro Canada's Transformers new product presentation and question and answer panel, Canada's largest dealer room for Transformers merchandise, guest question and answer panels and autograph sessions, Transformers trivia contest, plus art and costume contests. Toys "R" Us Canada will support the convention through various means including the distribution of TFcon promotional material in Toys "R" Us stores to increase awareness of the Canadian Transformers Collectors Convention.
