PortConMaine announces latest guest additions

SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE -- March 27, 2006 -- PortConMaine, New England's longest running anime convention, has proudly announced that voice actress Luci Christian and VG Cats web comic creator Scott Ramsoomair will be appearing as guests of honor.

Luci Christian is happy to visit Maine for the first time. Her voice acting credits for ADV Films include Kaname Chidori in Full Metal Panic! and Full Metal Panic FUMOFFU!, Sasshi in Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, Ran Kotobuki in Super Gals!, Yukari in Azumanga Daioh, Duck/Princess Tutu in Princess Tutu, Mikura in Mezzo for TV, Margaret in Madlax, Tetsu in Peacemaker, Risa in DNAngel, Himeno in Pretear, Sarah and Kate in Kaleido Star, Degiko in Panyo Panyo DigiCharat, Mugimaru in Nurse Witch Komugi, and Luna in Gravion and Gravion Zwei. For Funimation Entertainment, she has played Psiren and Wrath in Fullmetal Alchemist, Rico in Gunslinger Girl, Komachi in Samurai 7, Louis Ft. Drake in Galaxy Railways, Kosuna in Desert Punk, and Asuna in Negima. Luci lives in Houston with her trusty dog, Pacino.

Scott Ramsoomair is the creator of VG Cats, an online comic taking jabs at the video game industry with the help of two lovable cats. Leo the carefree, airhead tabby and the quick-tempered kitty Aeris. The two are based off of the authors own cats in classic Garfield fashion.

Also filling out the cast is the lord of the unpleasant Krug, the card crazy Galka Ternaldo, and the defender of undergarments PantsMan. Proving once and for all, you can look manly wearing underwear on your head.

Leo and Aeris take on the role of the characters in videogames. From there hilarity ensues, usually. From Asteroids to Zanzibar VG Cats has something for every gamer. "Even you retarded chocobo inbreeders," says Ramsoomair. VG Cats can be found at www.vgcats.com
