News for Anime Boston 2009:

Anime Boston contracts Expo Logic as registration vendor

Northeast's largest anime convention engages national leader for trade show registration

Boston – Anime Boston, the largest anime convention in New England, announced today that it has contracted with Expo Logic as its registration vendor.

With 29 years of experience in the field, Expo Logic's mission has been to help trade show organizers and event planners achieve the best trade show experience by providing innovative technology and cutting-edge products and services.

"What this means for registration is that we will now have a professional built on-site database along with super fast registration equipment," said Jackie Lavache, Director of Registration for Anime Boston. "We will have access to better technology as well as on-hand professionals to keep things running smoothly."

Highlights of the new registration system include Express Pass, allowing event pre-registrants to print out an emailed barcode weeks prior to the event and then scanned at an Express Pass station to instantly receive a badge. Other highlights include a dramatic number of available registration stations, an increase of more than 400 percent, and expanded space for registration.

Expo Logic has previously handled the N.Y. Times Travel Show, the CHA Craft Super Show and the Philadelphia Gift Show.
