- American anime producer Carl Macek passes away
- Animation historian Jerry Beck reported on his blog on Sunday that American producer Carl Macek passed away due to a heart attack on Saturday. Macek and Beck had co-founded Streamline Pictures in 1988.

- The AnimeCons TV Podcast crew found a VHS tape with a "classic" episode from 1990. It's now posted in our podcast feed and also available for viewing on AnimeCons TV.

- Today, AnimeCons.com has posted the March 2010 episode of the AnimeCons.com Podcast. In this month's episode, Shiva and Elizabeth discuss planning your masquerade performance. Patrick lists essential information that should be on every convention's web site. In Q&A, Sketch tries to get people to realize that AnimeCons.com does not actually run all the cons listed on the site.
