Monthly podcast covers convention news, reports, and provides helpful information for attendees

Newton, MA - After months of development, is pleased to present the first episode of the podcast. Hosted by Sketch, the podcast will run monthly and feature news and information about Japanese animation conventions around the world. The podcast will also provide convention previews, reports, and advice on what to expect at and how to prepare for anime conventions.

In the premiere episode, the podcast reviews the past month's anime convention news and announcements as posted on This is followed by a review of the list of the ten largest anime cons of 2008 as reported by the Webmaster and Senior Editor, Patrick Delahanty. For the first Q&A segment, Elizabeth O'Malley explains the factors that first-time convention attendees may want to consider when deciding which convention to attend first. The podcast also provides a schedule for the next two months of anime conventions around the world.
