Biography:
Daniel Coglan, frequently accompanied by his wife Jillian, is a full-time martial arts instructor, specializing in 16th-century Samurai arts. Together they have a combined 35 years of martial arts experience and run a dojo, the Kojokan, in Iowa. When not teaching the dojo, they travel the United States and Canada performing and teaching the ancient ways of history's most famous warriors.

Samurai Dan's shows are a unique blend of history, combative skill, and humor, designed to both educate and entertain the audience. Together he and Jillian collaborated to write, direct, host, and star in a 12-episode TV series entitled, "The Way of the Samurai."

Dan is also an author, having published several articles on martial arts and a full-length novel, Invasion of the Undead, the first book of his series-The Deathstalker Chronicles.
